Annalise Frank is a Local Detroit reporter for Axios, co-writing a daily newsletter about the city. She is also co-leader of Axios’s LGBTQ+ employee resource group. She previously spent five years at Crain’s Detroit Business, where she was a breaking news reporter, and then city government and cannabis industry reporter. Annalise graduated from Northwestern University with journalism and international studies degrees and started her career on a Princeton in Asia journalism fellowship in Vietnam.
