It was a great turnout on Thursday, August 14, as we gathered with colleagues from The Detroit News, Michigan Chronicle, The LEE Group, The Oakland Press, Detroit PBS, WEMU, Michigan Public, WDET, Outlier, Detroit One Million and others. Four members of the new cohort of the Knight-Wallace Fellows at U-M also joined us.
And we can’t recommend the venue, Roar Brewery, enough. It’s the first Black brewery in Detroit and a must visit.
