SPJ Detroit Mayoral Forum: Small Business Matters

Hear from the candidates running to be Detroit’s next mayor about their plans and policies for promoting small business development.

This SPJ Detroit special event was presented in partnership with the Michigan Black Business Alliance, Detroit PBS, Detroit NABJ and The LEE Group.

All candidates were invited to participate. The following were the ones able to join us for this critical conversation:

  • Mary Sheffield, Detroit City Council president
  • Saunteel Jenkins, former CEO of the Heath and Warmth Fund (THAW)
