Please Consider Contributing to the SPJ Detroit Scholarship Fund
Board member Jeff Payne has announced that the Michigan APME is donating $3,000 to the Scholarship Fund of Detroit SPJ. We cannot thank Jeff and the other members of that organization for their generous support.
Honoring the winners of the Larry Laurain Scholarships at our annual banquet is always one of the highlights of our annual banquet. Thanks to contributions from Michigan APME and other generous donors we will be able to support even more college students who are interested in a career in journalism.
If you wish to help support the next generation of journalists, please consider donating to the SPJ Detroit Scholarship Fund.
It is simple to do:
- Use the Scholarship Donations button at the top of this site to send your donation.
- OR write a check payable to Detroit SPJ and mail it to 5191 Ona Lake Dr., White Lake, MI 48383. Please be sure to note on the check that your contribution should be dedicated to the Scholarship Fund.
- Or send a donation via Venmo or PayPal to spjdetroit@gmail.com. Again, please note that the payment is to be dedicated to the Scholarship Fund.
